Week 12 Slides

Monday October 20: Students began Lesson 2 by constructing a poster to organize high cholesterol vs. low cholesterol foods.

Tuesday October 21: Students continued Lesson 2 completing Guided Notes part 1 and some of part 2. Class ended by looking at the cholesterol blood test results on the Lipid Panel Test: Looking at Cholesterol Levels in patients.

Wednesday/Thursday October 22/23: Students completed lesson 2 by reading an article about Coronary Artery Disease then making connections between the article and the cholesterol diagrams from Lesson 2 Guided Notes part 1. Students completed the connections chart on the back of Lesson 2 Guided Notes part 2 and turned that paper in. Class ended by introducing Lesson 3 "Why might some people's cholesterol be high?"
