Week 7 Slides
Monday September 15: Students got new assigned seats and graded exams were passed back. The first part of class was spent going over the chapter 1 exam. Then we launched into lesson 6 and started chapter 2. Students analyzed 3 different infection stories, compared them to Zach's infection, then made an initial model and prediction for what happens in the body when a person has symptoms as the result of a bacterial infection

Tuesday September 16: Finished Lesson 6. Students analyzed each others predictions from their initial models. We discussed possible explanations for what happens to bacteria in the body while the body is experiencing symptoms. Class ended building the Chapter 2 Driving Question Board.
Wednesday/Thursday September 17/18: Started and almost finished lesson 7. Students graphed body temperature for an individual throughout the day then read and annotated an article about various blood testes used to diagnose bacterial infections. Students submitted their graphs to be graded and also completed worksheets for Keeping Track of the Tests and Comparing the Cases based on the reading from the day. Tables and articles are posted below.
