About
I'm an 8th grade teacher at Bookcliff Middle School in Grand Junction, Colorado. I have bachelors' degrees in both Journalism and Biology as well as a Master of Science Teaching degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL). During my master's work at UNL I was a NOYCE scholar and I continue to participate in their research, which is focused on science teacher education.
I love living out here on the western slope of Colorado where, when not teaching, I enjoy fly-fishing, skiing, paddle boarding, and many other outdoor activities this awesome place offers all year round.
