Founded in the fall of 2018 the Bookcliff Middle School Lacrosse Club meets every Friday morning on the Bookcliff sports fields. Experienced and Inexperienced players alike have the chance to play, have fun, and make new friends as they participate in North America's original sport.

Mr.Powell is the adviser for the Lacrosse club. He started playing lacrosse in middle school back in Carlisle, PA where he grew up and rediscovered the sport when he moved to the grand valley. He hopes to foster a love of Lacrosse, sportsmanship, and unity with the Lacrosse club which has grown from about 10 student to 25 in its second year. Mr.Powell also strings lacrosse sticks which he features on the Instagram account WestSlopeStringTeam
