We continued adding to our genetics notes today with special emphasis on DNA. We also watched a short video and began our origami DNA molecules.

In class today we finished our "Genes in my Body" Diagram and continued our exploration of genetics. Also, if you didn't do as well on the back page (meiosis section) of the quiz. In class students took a short quiz over their understanding of genetics thus far based on our dragon breeding activity. Then we began creating our notes for the rest of the unit.
Although we are done breeding dragons in class, your journey does not have to be over! I encourage you to continue breeding dragons at home. The link to the Geniverse Lab is posted on the Genetics page of this website. Good Luck!
