Amplify Natural Selection Week 3

This week we completed Amplify Natural Selection lessons 2.3 and 2.4. Monday we will take our "Critical Juncture Assessment" then continue chapter 2 on Tuesday.

Gold Tape Question: We know that rough-skinned newts secrete TTX (Tetradotoxin) poison. What is another animal that contains this poison that is also a Japanese delicacy?

Big Red Challenge: Nebraska football has the week off so this week's BRC is about the volleyball team, who play saturday evening against Maryland. The first student to comment or email the score of the Nebraska vs. Maryland volleyball match will get a pack of Big Red Gum Monday.

Amplify Natural Selection Week 2

This week we completed chapter 1 of Amplify Natural Selection. Students observed that traits are passed down from parents to offspring and that traits that help an organism survive are known as adaptive.
