Meiosis Revisited

In class today we finished our "Genes in my Body" Diagram and continued our exploration of genetics.
Also, if you didn't do as well on the back page (meiosis section) of the quiz. An alternate assignment is at the bottom of this post for you try try again.

Oh Meiosis

Today we tried our hand at breeding drakes and also got our first glimpses of a process called MEIOSIS. Meiosis is the process by which parents produce GAMETES that will fuse to become a ZYGOTE, the first complete cell of a new organism. You can learn more about meiosis in the video to the right.
