Sherlock stories are due Monday at the beginning of class. The assignment is as follows  Your final task for your Sherlock Holmes experience to create your own Sherlock Holmes story in which you are the star!

Using First Person voice, you will retell the story of the stolen calculators and how the crime was solved.CREATIVITY is Encouraged
You should have fun with this assignment.  Be creative in your descriptions of the suspects, you can invent additional characters and backstory if you like.  Try and incorporate some dialogue if you can.         Your story should roughly follow your story planning guide, but feel free to organize your story however you like as long as all of the information from the guide is included.
Mandatory Vocabulary: Your story must include each of the following words (most of them you will use more than once)
Chemical Change          Physical Change         Physical Property       Acetic Acid       pH Indicator
Water                             Iodine                          Suspect                      Reaction           atom/s
Opportunity for a 4: In this assignment, there is a lot of opportunity to go above and beyond.  If you can connect your story to the Law of Conservation of Mass as well as phase changes, while still including vivid descriptions and scientific vocabulary, a 4 is possible for you.
Please draft your story in your lab notebook, we will be typing and editing them with computers for the final draft.  Please keep this paper in your notebook as a reference for the assignment.
GOLD TAPE QUESTION: For this week's gold tape question, watch the video "Who IS Sherlock Holmes." According to the narrator Sherlock is a "Palimpsest." What does the narrator mean by this and what does it mean for the future of Sherlock Holmes?
