Newton's Three Laws of Motion: Olympic Edition

Today we continued our investigation into all three of Newton's Laws of Motion. We also continued working on Free-Body Diagrams. We will have a quiz over forces and Newton's Laws on Monday.

Double Gold Tape Question: The Winter Olympics opening ceremony is tonight. You can earn a piece of gold tape for each of the following tasks.

​1) Pick your favorite Winter Olympic  sport and write an explanation of how each of Newton's three Laws of are demonstrated in that sport.

2) Draw a complex, complete, colored and labeled diagram that identifies the different forces involved with your favorite Winter Olympic Sport.
