In class today we wrote our conclusions for the paper airplane lab. We also added our class graph to our notebooks.

These are the prompts for writing a complete conclusion:

  1. Address your hypothesis; what happened in the lab and did that match what you thought would happen or was your hypothesis wrong?
  2. Explain your results. Report the key pieces of data that tell us what happened.
  3. Interpret your data: Answer the scientific question based on your data
  4. Discussion: What did we learn in this lab, how could we do it differently to get better data, what other experiments could we do to continue to expand on this experiment

We ended class starting our new unit Genetics, which we will dive into fully on Tuesday.
Gold Tape Question: Who is the "Father of Genetics" and what did he study to determine the "laws of inheritance"
You must email your response to spencer.powell@d51schools.org before school starts Tuesday to earn this week's gold tape.
