Students flew their paper airplanes today and collected distance and time data for each type of airplane for a total of four or five trials. Tuesday and Wednesday next week we are in the computer lab for NWEA testing. We will finish our lab on Thursday.

GOLD TAPE QUESTION: Every week for the rest of the year we will have a "Gold Tape Question" Students that answer the question by the next class period will earn a piece of gold tape for their notebook. Who ever has the most gold tape on their notebook at the end of the year will be honored as the Scientist of the Year! This week's question is simple. Email Mr. Powell spencer.powell@d51schools.org or send a comment through this website and explain the best part of 8th grade so far. In addition to a piece of gold tape, this weeks winners will also get a donut on Tuesday. Go for it!
